Arsenal striker target lifts lid on potential Emirates transfer
We've been linked with a number of strikers ahead of the January transfer window, with Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi among them. He has ruled out a move this winter however, insisting that he'll be staying put this season, as reported by the Express. Even before our usual glut of injuries we were short on options up front, a fact only worsened by the lengthy layoffs of Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott (via Arsenal.com). Icardi is a talented striker and an excellent prospect, but the 22-year-old seems determined to remain with Inter Milan.
