Arsenal offered Benzema, but Wenger may not want Real Madrid man
Arsene Wenger's interest in Karim Benzema is well documented, and we are once again being linked with the French forward. Reports from Spain (via the Daily Star) claim we have been offered the chance to sign the striker in January, but would Wenger still be interested? Benzema is in the midst of a scandal at the moment, and as the report suggests, has been implicated in a recent blackmail case involving international teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
