Sydney FC Over The Moon After Landing Arsenal Friendly

It has been reported that Sydney FC chairman Scott Barlow was over the moon after it was announced his club would be meeting Arsenal on Australian soil. The A-League giants will take on the Premier League powerhouse in a pre-season friendly match in Sydney in July 2017 and Barlow was quick to express his pride at the Gunners selecting the Sky Blues as their opponent. 'We are extremely proud to be hosting Arsenal, one of the world's premier football clubs in Sydney in 2017,' he said. 'This announcement is a major coup for Sydney FC and for Australian sport.
