Besiktas Set To Sign Arsenal Goalkeeper David Ospina
Reports are out claiming that Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is close to signing for Besiktas. Fanatik reported that Besiktas have opened negotiations with Arsenal over a deal to sign the out-of-favour stopper. The report claims Besiktas made contact with Ospina's agent to bring the Colombian to Istanbul on an initial loan with an optional buyout clause included in the contract. Talks between Gunners and the Turkish outfit have been positive and could see the 27-year-old leave the Emirates in January. This season, the arrival of ex-Chelsea star Petr Cech combined with a shoulder injury has seen Ospina relegated to the bench.
