Olivier Giroud went in to this afternoon's clash with Aston Villa having almost single handedly secured Arsenal's place in the Champions League knock-out stages with a hat-trick against Olympiakos earlier in the week. And the Frenchman needed just one more Premier League goal to make it 50 in the top-flight for the Gunners – from just 113 appearances.
