Aston Villa, West Brom Preparing Bid For Ex-Arsenal Fullback
It has been reported that Aston Villa face local competition for Roma fullback Ashley Cole. The Express & Star claims that West Brom could rival Aston Villa's interest in former Chelsea left-back Cole, after the claret and blues admitted their interest. Villa have revealed they want to bring in the 34-year-old, who hasn't played competitively since turning out for Italian club Roma in March. But Albion are also searching for an answer in that area, a role which the experienced former Arsenal and Chelsea star could easily fill.
