Napoli to hijack any Arsenal deal for star midfielder
With a string of injuries crippling Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s squad, the 66-year-old Frenchman is looking to bolster his midfield when the January transfer window opens next month. The Gunners boss is known to be a big admirer of Paris St-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot and could, according to the Daily Telegraph, make a move for the youngster in a few weeks’ time. Rabiot is apparently fed up of having to play second fiddle to Italian Marco Verratti at the Parc des Princes and has upset trainer Laurent Blanc by saying that he wants to leave the French champions in search of regular first-team football.
