Mertesacker revels in Paulista recruitment
Gabriel Paulista's arrival has given Arsenal the strength in depth they need to triumph domestically and in Europe, says Per Mertesacker.Per Mertesacker feels Gabriel Paulista's move to Arsenal has strengthened the club's bid for honours.
Paulista joined from Villarreal in the recent transfer window, offering manager Arsene Wenger another option at the back after having to cope with injuries to the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Mertesacker.
