Arsenal Eager To Reward Mesut Ozil With Improved Contract
It has been revealed that Arsenal are set to reward Mesut Ozil with a £20,000-a-week pay rise. According to The Sun, the Gunners are keen to deal the German playmaker in following a brilliant beginning to the season. Ozil, who currently earns £140,000-a-week, has provided a remarkable 13 assists already this campaign and his form has the Gunners sitting second on the Premier League table. The former Real Madrid star is contracted with the North Londoners until the summer of 2018 but could pen a one-year extension on improved terms as a result of his match-winning displays.
