Olivier Giroud Proves Arsenal Do Not Need New Striker – Silvestre
It has been revealed that former Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre says Olivier Giroud will end talk of Arsene Wenger needing to buy a new striker. However Silvestre believes that Giroud, who has scored five goals in his last three games for Arsenal, may be that man for Wenger. “[Giroud] is a fox in the box,' the former Arsenal and Manchester United defender told Omnisport. “At Arsenal, he has many good players around him. They can give him assists. “I don't know his stats this season but, even though he is often criticised, he shouldn't be blamed. Arsenal are on top, I think he is doing well as Arsenal's striker.'
