Arsenal Target Jorginho Set To Sign New Napoli Deal
It has been revealed that Napoli midfielder Jorginho is reportedly close to re-signing with the Serie A outfit, despite interest from Premier League giants Arsenal. Jorginho's agent Joao Santos told Radio CRC his client is on the verge of extending his stay in Naples, which may dash the Gunners' hopes of landing the 23-year-old. 'We are ready to sign the Napoli contract renewal by the end of the year,' Santos said. The Brazilian-born Italian's current deal runs until the end of the 2018 season, so further extending Jorginho's contract is a significant show of commitment from both player and club.
