Arsenal close to sealing deal for Nigerian wonderkid
We look set to complete our first signing ahead of the January transfer window, although it's not likely to appease Arsenal fans a huge amount. The player in question is 16-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, whose agent claims we're on the verge of completing a deal, as reported by The Sun. Osimhen was a star at the Under 17s World Cup, scoring ten goals in seven games for Nigeria. He's attracted the attention of a host of clubs, but his agent insists it's now between us and VfL Wolfsburg. 'We've had many offers for Victor,' his advisor Gaffar Liameed said.
