Arsenal star credits teammates for his improved form
GETTY BRIGHT LIGHT: Arsenal star Mesut Ozil The 27-year-old midfielder has recently become the most prolific assister in Europe, making 13 goals in 16 Premier League games this season. But Ozil thinks his statistics have been helped by the ruthless finishing of his teammates. He told Kicker: "Our forwards now convert my assists. You have to put the numbers into perspective. "I've also played a lot of good final passes in the last two seasons, but nobody converted them. This year, our attackers turn my assists into goals, and those assists appear in the stats."
