Wenger rules injury stricken Alexis out for ‘Christmas period' after setback
Arsene Wenger has unfortunately confirmed that Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out for the 'Christmas period', with the Chilean failing to recover from the hamstring injury he picked up against Norwich City, as reported by the Evening Standard. We haven't exactly been suffering without the former Barcelona star, and we made it four wins on the trot with a 2-1 win over Manchester City this past Monday night. It will still be fantastic when he eventually returns however, as we need our biggest stars fit if we want to challenge for the title.
