Shock Man of the Match winner as Arsenal utterly humiliated
Arsenal were utterly dismantled at the hands of Southampton this evening and it looks as though you all agreed with Robbie Savage in your man of the match selection; or not quite. Savage is not a popular character, admittedly, but Shane Long's tireless performance saw him rewarded with two goals and, most importantly, the award from the ex-Birmingham ponytailed midfielder. As the Gunners' defence was being humiliated each time Long and Mane rushed forwards, Victor Wanyama was restricting the impact of Mesut Ozil with a brilliantly disciplined display in central midfield.
