Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal star could be sold in January
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted that out of favour defender Mathieu Debuchy could leave the club when the January transfer window opens next week, the Metro reports. The 30-year-old has lost his place in the first team to Spanish youngster Hector Bellerin, which has in turn seen him lose his spot with the French national side – something the former Newcastle man is desperate to get back ahead of next summer's European Championship. Debuchy has previously stated that he may have to go elsewhere to look for regular first team football, and now Wenger has confirmed that he may very well get his wish next month.
