Ex-Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant set for S.League trial - sources
Former England winger Jermaine Pennant played for Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League. Former Liverpool and Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant will arrive in Singapore on Wednesday ahead of a week-long trial at S.League club Tampines Rovers, sources have told N FC. Pennant, who turns 33 later this month, is currently unattached having left Wigan Athletic at the end of last season. He trialled at Thai Premier League club Muang Thong United in November but failed to sign a contract. Pennant will link up with the 2015 S.League runners up, with the aim of earning a contract for this year.
