Watford Captain Troy Deeney Linked With Arsenal
It has been revealed that Arsenal want Watford's Troy Deeney. According to the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger is set to make a surprise move for the Hornets skipper this month as he looks to bolster his title-chasing squad. Deeney has been one of the most in-form forwards in the Premier League this season with six goals and five assists, forming a dangerous partnership with Odion Ighalo for Quique Sanchez Flores' side who currently sit ninth in the league. While Watford are highly unlikely to be interested offloading their inspirational skipper, the Gunners are still believed to be pondering a sensational swoop for the former Walsall star who has been at Vicarage Road since 2010.
