Defensive midfielder in England to complete Arsenal transfer
Basel star Mohamed Elneny has landed in England with Arsenal hoping to complete his transfer this week, according to reports from the Metro. Elneny has been heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates these past few weeks and it looked as if the Gunners sealed a £7.3million deal, but a delay in his work permit postponed an official announcement. However, Guardian reporter Ed Aarons has revealed that the 23-year-old midfielder is currently in England to complete the move, which if done early could see Elneny available for Arsenal’s trip to Stoke City this weekend.
