Petr Cech Has Transformed Arsenal – Glenn Hoddle
It has been revealed that Chelsea legend Glenn Hoddle believes Petr Cech has been a transformative signing for Arsenal. Hoddle wrote in the Mail on Sunday: 'Arsenal have struggled to fill the goalkeeping positions since Jens Lehmann left. They haven't had a keeper who gives you the reassurance that Petr or Ray (Clemence) do. 'Now they have that and the strength flows throughout the side. You could see it recently in the games against Newcastle and Stoke. There are still vulnerabilities to Arsenal, as they showed against Southampton. But overall they look a tougher proposition and much of that is down to Cech. 'And at 33, he's still young enough to give Arsenal that strength for some years...
