Arsenal snap up striker from rivals? Arsene scouting Mertesacker replacement?
Morning all. According to The Mail, MLS defender Matt Miazga is on his way to the Premier League and a deal will be completed before the week is out. Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on snapping up the youngster but so are Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City. With Per Mertesacker getting older, 32 later this year and slower so another defender with a bit of height and pace wouldn't go amiss at the back. Laurent Koscielny turns 31 years old later this year so he too might need replacing soon.
