Tomas Rosicky Out For Six Weeks With Thigh Injury
It has been revealed that Tomas Rosicky has suffered a cruel setback after being ruled out for six weeks due to an injury sustained in his comeback match. Rosicky, 35, enjoyed his first appearance of the season in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Burnley in the FA Cup, coming on as a 71st-minute substitute. The Czech playmaker had a lengthy recovery from groin surgery in the summer, spending the first six months of the season on the sidelines, but reports now indicate he injured his thigh in the match at Emirates Stadium. He will undergo scans but reports suggest Rosicky could miss as much as six weeks with the problem, meaning he will not be available until the middle of March.
