Southampton Prospect Callum Slattery Ignores Arsenal To Sign New Contract
It has been reported that Callum Slattery has signed pro terms with Southampton. The Daily Star says Slattery has snubbed Arsenal to sign a two-year professional contract at St Mary's. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been tracking midfielder Slattery – the latest product of Saints' world famous youth academy – for the past two years. Southampton director of football Les Reed said: 'Callum has the correct profile to follow the pathway into the first team we have created.'
