Report: Arsenal want Roma's Alessio Romagnoli
Roma's Italian defender Alessio Romagnoli has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, according to reports. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at high-flying Sampdoria, where he has been a virtual ever present this season, making 19 appearances for Sinisa Mihajlovic's side. His performances for Sampdoria have reportedly caught the attention of Arsene Wenger, who is now considering a move for the young centre-back, reports La Repubblica. Romagnoli, who has represented the Italian Under-21 side on two occasions, has made 14 appearances for the Giallorossi since making his debut in 2012.
