Liverpool open talks over shock move for £30m Arsenal star
Liverpool have stepped up their chase to sign Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after asking to be kept informed on his situation, Football Insider reports. The 22-year-old wants to see his current £52,000-a-week wages increase dramatically and has put contract talks on hold until this issue can be agreed upon. However, the Gunners are not sure whether to reward him with a new deal given that he has been having trouble with injuries and has struggled to hold down a regular role in the squad.
