Arsenal’s interest in South American star confirmed
Arsenal are interested in Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to the player’s agent. The 24-year-old was born in Brazil, but moved to Italy at a young age, where he started his playing career with Hellas Verona. Jorginho was a key figure in the side’s rise into Serie A, and his performances at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi attracted Napoli’s interest in January 2014. He has since been a first-team regular in Naples, with his performances having led to to suggestions that his future may lay away from the San Paolo, and his agent, Joao Santos, has confirmed that Arsenal, as well as Real Madrid, are keen on the defensive midfielder: “Interest from Arsenal?
