Thierry Henry and Kobe Bryant bond over mutual footballing legend
As a little treat for the fans, the NBA set up a one-on-one interview between sporting legends Thierry Henry and Kobe Bryant in which they discussed their footballing idols. Former Arsenal striker Henry duly waxed lyrical about his "perfect" Dutch idol, the ex-AC Milan forward Marco van Basten, only to be taken aback when Los Angeles Lakers star Bryant, who spent several years living in Italy as a child, went and named the very same player. Note Henry also acknowledging Kobe expertly executing his Italian pronunciations.
