‘RIP' Giroud's career, Arsenal fans loving life with Welbeck
Danny Welbeck has been in great form since his return from injury, and his excellent performance against Everton – capped with a goal – have Arsenal fans calling time on Olivier Giroud's Arsenal career. The French forward comes in for a lot of criticism from his own fans, much of it rather unfair. You can't deny that Welbeck has looked a far better option in recent weeks though, scoring goals and creating chances for his teammates too. Arsenal fans clearly think the Everton game was proof that Arsene Wenger needs to be playing Welbeck over Giroud, and didn't hold any punches as they took to social media.
