Arsene Wenger Hails Show Of ‘Character' For Win At Everton

It has been revealed that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was delighted with victory at Everton. First-half goals from Danny Welbeck and teenager Alex Iwobi were enough for a first Premier League victory in a month which came as a welcome relief after exits from the FA Cup and Champions League in the same week. 'The character of my players was questioned. We know if we don't win today we were out of it. I think it was a mental test for the side,' said Wenger. 'I am not masochistic enough to consider us out.
