Wenger backed by key Arsenal stakeholder
Arsenal’s second largest stakeholder Alisher Usmanov has stated that the club must stick with Arsene Wenger and that the French manager is the club’s greatest asset. The North London club have not won the Premier League since 2004 and the club’s fans have become frustrated with a number of near misses. A section of the Emirates Stadium outfit’s fan base have called for a major change and for Wenger to step down as the side’s head coach.
