Hodgson Wants Welbeck, Sturridge To Prove Fitness Ahead Of Euro2016
It has been revealed that England manager Roy Hodgson has called on Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck to prove their fitness ahead of the summer's European Championships. Both players have missed out on the majority of the current season with respective injuries and have recently returned to full fitness. Hodgson is keen for the Liverpool striker and Arsenal attacker to get a run of games under their belt at the end of the season so he can take them to Euro2016 without hesitation.
