Emirates hosts medical conference
The Arsenal medical team recently hosted the club’s annual medical conference at Emirates Stadium. The event, now in its sixth year, brings together medical practitioners from across sport, to pool expertise and share ideas.This year’s conference focused on marginal gains in sports medicine.Thierry Henry was among the speakers. He discussed his fitness record as a player, and the relationship between sportspeople and their medical teams.Arsenal’s Colin Lewin, Dr Gary O’Driscoll and Shad Forsythe joined nine other leading medical practitioners to address the 325 delegates in attendance.
