Arsenal ace denies being involved in alleged assault

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has denied being involved in an alleged assault which took place in London in the early hours of Sunday morning. As reported by The Mirror, the England international was seen in footage speaking to police officers after the altercation had taken place. However, Arsenal have confirmed that an incident did take place but have spoken to Wilshere who has informed them that he wasn't involved, according to Sky Sports. Police have since also confirmed that no charges or arrests were made, although they refused to comment further as inquiries continue into the matter.
