Arsenal set to step up chase for AC Milan playmaker

Arsenal are hoping to complete a deal for AC Milan ace Manuel Locatelli following a number of scouting missions, Goal.com reports. The 18-year-old was only brought up from the academy back in February, but is highly rated by club chairman Silvio Berlusconi. He has been monitored by the Gunners over the past few months, with manager Arsene Wenger keen to add the midfielder into his ranks. After impressing club scouts, it is now said that contact has been made with Locatelli’s agent regarding a possible switch to join the Premier League giants.
