Arsenal Face Stiff Chelsea Competition For Kostas Manolas
It has been revealed that Chelsea have opened talks with Roma for Kostas Manolas. Sky Italia claims that Chelsea have held talks with Roma about signing Manolas. The centre-back is wanted by new Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte, who signed a three-year contract on Monday to take over at Stamford Bridge after his spell as Italy boss ends after Euro 2016. John Terry's departure would see the club lose an influential figure and Chelsea appear to have earmarked Manolas – who has played 23 times for his country – as his replacement.
