Wilshere Makes Successful Arsenal U21 Return

It has been revealed that Jack Wilshere made his playing comeback for Arsenal U21s on Friday. The England international midfielder featured as Arsenal ranout 3-1 winners. Daniel Crowley, the anointed successor to Wilshere, French striker Stephy Mavididi and Serge Gnabry found the net for Steve Gatting's side on a night where Tomas Rosicky also stepped up his recovery from a long-term injury. In his first match of any kind since a pre-season appearance against VfL Wolfsburg in July, Wilshere managed 65 minutes of low-intensity football against a poor Newcastle side that fielded January signing Henri Saivet in their XI.
