Arsenal make opening £24m bid for Bundesliga anchorman
Arsenal have submitted an opening offer worth £24million for Borussia Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka, according to reports from the Mirror. Xhaka has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Park in recent weeks, with the Swiss international a target for several of Europe’s elite. The defensive midfielder’s performances this season have seen the likes of Liverpool and Juventus monitor his situation, as both clubs aim to add a battling anchorman into their ranks.
