New ‘sexy' development set to impact Arsenal's transfer plans
Borussia Monchengladbach's sporting director Max Eberl believs his side may well be able to keep hold of reported Arsenal target Granit Xhaka, claiming the club have become 'sexy' and appealing recently, as reported by the Daily Star. We've been continuously linked with a move for the Swiss international over the last couple of transfer windows, with recent reports suggesting we'd even lodged a £24m bid (via the Daily Star). The Bundesliga side are apparently holding out for closer to the £35m mark though, with Eberl speaking to the media and confirming that while no bid had actually been made, a £24m bid would be instantly refused.
