Ozil Prepared To Sign New Arsenal Deal
It has been revealed that Mesut Ozil is ready to sign a new deal with Arsenal. According to reports from the Mirror, the Germany international playmaker is ‘very close' to signing his new contract with Arsenal. The 27-year-old, signed for £42.5m from Real Madrid in 2013, has two seasons left on his current deal. An agreement has been struck in principle over his improved terms. Ozil has enjoyed a sparkling season racking up 18 assists in 33 appearances and earning a nomination for the PFA Player of the Year.
