Controversial pundit heaps praise on under-fire Arsenal star

The BBC pundit spoke after our 2-2 draw with Manchester City, heaping praise on Olivier Giroud for his goal and assist against Manuel Pellegrini's side, as reported by the BBC. 'Giroud has been excellent today,' Savage said. 'He has his critics but he's had defenders all over him this afternoon and has linked up the play well. He's been very, very good this afternoon.'
