Claudio Ranieri confirms Arsenal's move for Jamie Vardy
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that Arsenal have met the release clause in Jamie Vardy's contract. On Friday evening, reports emerged that Arsenal had made their move for the 29-year-old, who scored 24 goals in the top flight last season to help the Foxes to the Premier League title. It has since been claimed that a transfer could be completed by the end of the weekend and Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Ranieri has said that talk of a sensational move for one of his star players is "all true".
