Leicester Make Last Ditch Attempt To Keep Hold Of Jamie Vardy
It has been revealed that Leicester City have made a last ditch attempt to keep hold of Jamie Vardy. The Sunday Telegraph says Leicester have offered Vardy more money in a last-ditch attempt to stop him joining Arsenal. The striker is in talks with the Gunners after they activated his £22m release clause. The 29-year-old is reported to have provisionally agreed personal terms on a four-year deal worth £120,000-a-week. But it is claimed Leicester are readying a counter offer which would see them offer an improvement on the £60,000-a-week deal Vardy signed in February.
