As you are probably already aware, Arsenal activated Jamie Vardy's £20million release clause last Friday – but not every Gunners fan is exactly pleased. No doubt, the north London club are in need of added goal threat, finishing last season with the fewest goals of any side in the Premier League's top four. So on the surface, swooping for a front-man who fired Leicester City to the 2015/16 title with 24 strikes in 36 appearances makes perfect sense. But it remains to be seen whether Vardy's rather unique counter-attacking game would be equally effective at another club – especially one as possession-orientated as Arsenal.
