Wenger reveals crucial blow to Arsenal's title chances, forward rejects £20m move
Arsene Wenger has revealed to Chinese media that Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy is set to reject a move to North London this summer, report Goal. The Gunners had triggered the release clause in the England striker’s deal with the Premier League champions and looked set to make a shock move to the Emirates. With Olivier Giroud failing to wholly convince, the 24-goal star was billed as perhaps the forward required to land Wenger an elusive fourth title at long last. Still, with Champions League football on the way to the King Power Stadium, it seems the 29-year old will remain with Claudio Ranieri in the East Midlands for at least another season.
