Club chief: Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain is worth £80m

That is according to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. Recent reports suggested Olivier Giroud would be used as a makeweight in order to pave the way for a deal for Higuain. Arsene Wenger is in the market for a striker, with Higuain a long-term target. Giroud could miss the start of the season as he is on an extended break following his participation at Euro 2016 with France. Higuain has also attracted interest from Chelsea, with Antonio Conte keen to provide some dynamism to his attack.
