Arsenal Forward Wants To Move Back Onto The Wing
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has told Arsene Wenger he wants to play on the right wing ahead of the new season. The Englishman has been deployed up front for a number of seasons but wants to switch back out wide to try and resurrect his Arsenal career (via The Daily Mirror). He joined Arsenal as one of the brightest young talents in English football but it’s fair to say that Theo Walcott hasn’t yet lived up to the hype. The 27 year-old moved to the club from Southampton in 2006 and has made close to 350 appearances for The Gunners in the past decade. The Englishman has only surpassed 10 Premier League goals in just one of his ten seasons at the Emirates so perhaps it’s about time...
