Wolfsburg will not sell Julian Draxler, despite player's intention to leave
Wolfsburg have released a statement insisting that Julian Draxler will not be sold this summer, despite the winger's desire to leave the German outfit. The 22-year-old, who has been linked to Arsenal, recently said in an interview that manager Dieter Hecking has been aware for some time that he wants to join another club. Wolfsburg have hit back, though, claiming that Draxler will not be allowed to leave before his contract expires in the summer of 2017.
