Emmanuel Frimpong signs for Russian club Arsenal Tula
Emmanuel Frimpong returns to Russia after his spell with FC Ufa. Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has returned to the Russian Premier League with Arsenal Tula. The club announced that Frimpong, who was given a trial at MLS club Sporting KC last month, has signed a two-year contract. The 24-year-old midfielder also confirmed the move on Twitter and said: "I hope we can have a fantastic season and I can repay (your) debt." Frimpong is looking to revive his career as he has been without a club since leaving Russian side Ufa in April following a three-year stint.
