Liverpool hit with injury blows ahead of Gunners clash
Liverpool could be without 3 first team players for their trip to Arsenal on Sunday in their opening game of the Premier League. The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Marko Grujic, James Milner and Daniel Sturridge are all struggling to prove their fitness ahead of the trip to London. Sturridge only played 14 Premier League games last season, and has only featured for the Reds in 69 league games for the Reds across 4 seasons. However, he did score 8 goals in that brief season last year, and added more in the UEFA Europa League, including a delightful opener in their 3-1 defeat to Sevilla in the final.
