Wenger Talks About His Transfer Plans
Arsene Wenger spoke about his plans for the rest of the transfer window and reiterated his desire to only sign players who would strengthen the team. Arsenal have signed four players to far this window but enter the new season with only two fit centre backs (via Arsenal.com). The Boss was speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League opener against Liverpool – a match which Arsenal go into without three first choice central defenders. The Gunners have signed Rob Holding from Bolton but the 20 year-old is anything but experienced. Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista are injured and The Boss also said that Laurent Koscielny “is not ready” following his exploits with France at Euro 2016....
